How to Rig Animation

Rigging is a fast and efficient way to animate illustrations by separating an artwork into moveable parts instead of drawing every frame by hand. For the animation process, I'll be using After Effects but there are many free programs that also work well for rigging, such as Synfig Studio and OpenToonz.
